Ye guraiz kis liye is qaddar,
Ye khafa khafa se huzoor kya!
Tujhe yaad krna mazaq tha,
Tujhe bhool jana azaab hai,
Ye saza hai jurm-e-firaaq ki,
Mere haafizey ka qusoor kya!
Tere sath hai jo teri anaa,
Mere sath mera naseeb hai,
Mujhe tujh se kesi shikayeten,
Tujhe khud pe itna ghuroor kya!
Koi khawab tha k saraab tha,
Jo guzar gaya so guzar gaya,
Ye baseeraton ka qusoor kyun,
Ye basaaraton ka fatoor kya!
Ye tmhara chehra kitaab hai,
Isey parh raha hun wraq wraq,
Zara bat saada likha kro,
Ye muhawron ki satoor kya!
Dil-e-khud pasand sadaa na de,
Keh ye ik sadaaon ka dasht hai,
Kahin kho gaye hain jo bheer main,
Humain dhoondna hai zaroor kya!.
